Though not actually on Route 66, Red Oak II is well worth a side trip. Put together by Lowell Davis, sculpturer, as a recreation of his boyhood town, it has been referred to as a "transplanted town". It is full of wonderful old buildings, some quite unique and lots of Lowell's sculpture.
